I stayed for 2 nights in a Twin Room. The room was super basic but clean enough, which was nice. The beds were okay, just not the comfiest ever. The heating was weird—it got switched off after the first night, and I was a bit chilly. There's not much in the way of luxury here, but you're really just using it to crash after exploring. The breakfast was alright, nothing fancy, but it got the job done.

missingWrote a review on 19 Decconvenient shuttle servicelimited breakfast options
The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service that meets train and plane arrivals, which is very helpful for guests with early or late travel plans.
The breakfast experience was lacking variety, with only basic options and some hygiene concerns in food presentation.

Comfortable beds provided decent rest during our stay.
The carpet in our room was quite worn and in dire need of replacement. Breakfast hygiene left much to be desired, with self-serve foods lacking proper presentation tools. Unfortunately, noise from the common areas made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful morning.

the staff at bear country inn are super helpful, and john sr. goes above and beyond! they provide a solid breakfast with cereals, toast, and even homemade banana muffins. it's in a prime spot close to cafes and shops, making it easy to explore.
needs a little upgrading.

I stayed for 3 nights in a Double Room. The managers, John sr. & John jr. Are super helpful, ensuring we didn’t get lost or encounter polar bears. Florida, the maid, brings sunshine to everyone’s day. The airport shuttle was flexible and breakfast was simple but sufficient. Our GMC Sierra 4x4 rental was perfect for exploring!

Both lovable and frustrating
A fantastic location right next to the tundra buggy operator! Strong WiFi and hot water made our stay pleasant, while the flexibility of the airport shuttle was much appreciated.
The breakfast experience was rushed, lacking proper presentation, and I found the common areas noisy, making mornings less enjoyable.

The service here was surprisingly attentive, especially from the friendly room maid, who brought a positive energy to the place. The complementary airport shuttle was flexible, making transfers easy. Unfortunately, the breakfast lacked proper presentation and rushed guests out after they finished. Additionally, the common areas were quite noisy, detracting from a peaceful stay. Although the room was clean, it felt very basic and could use some updates.
